Brightly colored lights beam from window that greets visitors with a highly detailed replica of Yoda, a glamorous Barbie that’s larger than life, a large Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Harry Potter, and a scene from Clark Kent’s Office at the Daily Planet. Billows of Hollywood fog roll onto Bradley Street announcing to all visitors that they are no longer on familiar territory. Clark Kent’s work attire is strewn about a vintage Daily Planet office set, which looks straight out the movie; a signal that he’s fighting crime in the streets of Carrollton and that young artists are busy creating their own characters to save the day! The giant Barbie Doll has shopping bags, paint swatches, picture frames, construction tools, fabrics, and wallpaper as she prepares to build three-foot tall Barbie Dream Houses with budding designers. These window scenes take particular presence at night as special theatrical lighting adds a particular shimmer and magic that is unmistakably “The Institute of the Imagination!”
The elaborate window displays represent the amazing new course offerings at Arts for All, Inc. The Institute of the Imagination.
